@bw It's unacceptable. While I've been on hiatus due to my illness and contemplating disability, I've learned how truly screwed this country leaves people.

@anniegreens Yup. I mean it's better than nothing I guess, but it's not great. There are so many rules and loopholes and workarounds depending on what programs or services you need, but you almost have to be a lawyer to figure them out.

And a bunch of the rules drive backward incentives, like the one in my post. I have more thoughts on this than the character limit will allow, but the incentives need to align with people with disabilities earning more, not less.
