@bw@social.lolI wanted the feeling of an e-ink monitor, and I realized that with the right settings in macOS I could get something close.
Update: these “e-ink settings” worked much better on my MBP than on my Studio Display. Seems like it can’t combine the grayscale filter with Night Shift very well.

@jden Unfortunately the screenshot ignores some of the display features so it’s not possible. I might try to get a photo at some point.

@bw Thanks for sharing! I've played around with high contrast and grayscale filter settings in the past…I'd forgotten how much I enjoy this mode. I just created a couple of Shortcuts to switch the settings on and off…even works on iPad!
