@mitten @jcrabapple *sad trombone*
@mitten
It is a high risk vehicle, not so much for the product (which has issues), but for the pure arrogance of the owners, which puts the risk of a claim much higher than would be normal.
@mitten insurance companies are famously woke, after all
Good news for the world, but it sucks that an insurance company can terminate existing coverage. The whole point of insurance is that it protects you against the unknown. Of course, if we had a society that just did that with taxes, we wouldn't need private insurance companies.
Now, how to get that tax money? Let me think...
@mitten Ok ... that's damned funny.
@mitten oh look poor $TSLA
@mitten 8 cars on the policy? Tesla truck? Hmm..
@mitten First of all Second, who the fuck is buying a cybertuck and getting geico insurance?
@mitten "More importantly, Anderson has eight vehicles", confirming widespread suspicions that Cybertrucks are owned exclusively by unmitigated douchecanoes.
@mitten
And they’re yugly too.
@mitten They can get specialty insurance for these trucks, just gets reinsured with companies like Lloyds. GEICO underwriters probably couldn’t stop laughing.
@mitten am still wondering if it's possible to reverce with Tesla truck
If the above wasn’t enough, there is also the issue with the Cybertruck glass. As of writing, several Cybertruck owners have reported that their “transparent metal” glass has spontaneously shattered after being left in the sun for too long.
"The Tybercruck's windows are equipped with innovative self-break technology. In case of an emergncy, please wait patiently for the self-cracking function to activate."
@mitten I love how “It makes no sense, as there are other, riskier cars out there" is followed by 2/3rds of the article listing all the problems with the Cybertruck
