People who POSSE short posts (like this one https://social.lol/@robb/113463633216102497) do you link back to the source or not? Seems a bit redundant but also it is nice to get to the canonical source.
@robb I don’t do it myself, but I always prefer posts that link back to a canonical source.
@robb linking back feels like a way to inform of the canonical location of the content.

@robb Where it gets weird is if there's a preview of the post as well, so then you get the POSSE copy of the post, then underneath a preview showing the same text, then if you click through there's just the same text again. In that case a link back is creating a bad experience for your readers on the POSSE platform. The challenge is that when and what part of a preview is shown is unpredictable. If you put the one-liner in as both title and description you can get 3 copies shown.
@robb Linking back is what POSSE is all about, I guess, if your are not in the position that your website is an Activity endpoint itself.
