John Cunnimgham's 1890s gushet tenement on the corner of Duke Street and Hunter Street in the East End of Glasgow. I love the curved fascia above the ground floor commecial premises of this tenement as it gives the feeling that you're looking up at the prow of a great ship.

This beautiful little cat on the ledge at the bottom of this image is one of a pair created by Hugh Pritchard in 1988 to decorate a modern tenement on Woodlands Road in Glasgow. I really wish more developers would include such whimsical details in their projects.
I love how Glasgow's tenements look in the sunshine. These 1870s blonde sandstone ones are on Woodlands Road on the west of the city.

The building for Life Science and Bioengineering is the largest project since the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) was inaugurated in the 1960s. The Biosphere is the heart of the building, and the 13-meter-tall atrium forms an exciting center for encounters between scientists, employees, and students across floors. The thousands of oak lamellas translate the golden hue of the façade into an inner texture, which reflects the professions of biology and nature. At the same time, the oak lamellas mirror the unique nature-rich surroundings and symbolize the grove of oak trees that once were located on the site of building B202.
