#TuneTuesday
I recorded some acoustic guitar yesterday, maybe you'll like it. I'm just jamming/improvising into some new mics I've saved for (and sold stuff off to help buy)
This week's theme for #TuneTuesday is #StormyNights — songs about darkness, lightning and thunder, and whatever else you think fits.
I'll go with Soon It's Gonna Rain from The Fantasticks

Hey all!
Having just spent a holiday with Thunderstruck on repeat, I was tempted to lead with that. But, late to the party, again, so going with my alternative.
It has to be Thunder by The Prodigy.
It's been a while since I've done a music-themed post.
I'll go with today's #TuneTuesday's Theme chosen by @JillsJoy #StormyNights, introduced this week by @Kitty .
For those who remember Legend of Zelda's iconic Song of Storms back in the ocarina of time, there is a cool remix to it that I once played in osu! back in 2015.
The song starts off with chiptune sounds before other instruments join in, such as the violin and drums. The song ebbs and flows just as the thunderstorm rains and [lightning] strikes.

A late entry to #TuneTuesday this week. My #StormyNights song is Rush - Jacob's Ladder which paints an aural watercolour of a storm and then the sun coming out through the clouds. I guess the sun is still up into the evening so I contend that it counts... at a stretch. https://song.link/i/1497622521

I love Gnarls Barkley, but this one isn't one I listen to often. Still, it captures the feeling of a storm right before a lightning strike for me.
Gnarls Barkley - Storm Coming
"I could paint a picture with a pen / But a song will only scratch the skin /And there are still places I haven't been / Because I know what's in there is already in the air / Oh yeah, there's a storm on the way"
I must say, one song is not enough for #TuneTuesday theme: #StormyNights. My playlist is full with storm songs
2. DaysNDaze - Through The Storm folk/punk

3. The End Men - A Storm Is Coming blues rock

I will edit in case someone else already picked them.
It's #TuneTuesday again, and for #StormyNights theme I'm going into the folk tradition again. Cold Haily Rainy Night, a "typical night-visitor song" according to Wikipedia, has been recorded by many folk-revival types in recent years. The Imagined Village did a stonking version on Jools Holland back in 2008, exhibit A

"Eta Ŝtormo Nokta" (A Little Storm at Night) from the Esperanto version of Team's 1989 debut album. There are two copies of this song on YouTube and both are running at the wrong speed - this one is close enough though.

Some noise rock - from what IMHO is the best duo in the business - seems right.

To celebrate the recent news that #DearEvanHansen would be coming to #Manila this September, let me share you my most favorite song from the musical that isn’t “You Will Be Found” or “Waving From A Window”: “Good For You”. 1/2
Today's theme for Tune Tuesday is Stormy Nights. I thought the Wildhearts were done, but it turns out that they have just released a new album! I have not checked it out yet, but this old personal favorite fits the theme:
The Wildhearts - Stormy in the North, Karma in the South

Rorschach - Lightning Strikes Twice (metallic hardcore)
Pretty much everything I post is political, including this. Cool Rod Serling anti-fascist sample. These guys are my friends and they turned out to be influential, too.
