Coming up on #WFMU: live music from The Lotts and Logan Ledger on Todd-o-phonic Todd's show! (3pm EDT)
Bay Area musician Logan Ledger writes beautiful and stately songs. With roots in country, bluegrass and folk, Logan states that “I've always believed that in order to create something new with purpose, one must be steeped in the past and work from within the tradition.”
The Lotts hail from Warrington in The United Kingdom. The 4 piece combo plays a wild amalgamation of wild 60's garage and 70's punk that creates something uniquely their own.

Tindersticks have been making moody and magnificent music for over 30 years. Today on Surface Noise, the band's voice and prime mover Stuart Staples talks about the band's most recent album, 'Soft Tissue,' and their upcoming tour of the U.S. — their first since 2008. (9am EDT)

TONIGHT on #WFMU:
Kathleen Hannah (Bikini Kill/Le Tigre) and Tamar-kali (film score composer) join Suzy Hotrod on Rock and Roller Derby to talk about their co-curation of 'American Songbook: Singer Outsiders,' a program running through April 15 at Lincoln Center that "reclaims and elevates our Singer Outsiders, women and nonbinary musicians who have shaped the modern landscape of music and performance and continue to drive conversations on gender, identity, and empowerment." (8pm EDT)

This afternoon on #WFMU Mike Campbell is Todd-o-Phonic Todd's guest!
Campbell's new autobiography 'Heartbreaker' is a vivid recollection of his time spent playing guitar in Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers for the duration of their career. He was also involved in writing many of their pivotal songs. His current band is Mike Campbell & the Knobs. (3pm EDT)

Coming up on #WFMU: author Ben Snyder joins @markhurst on Techtonic.

A few years ago, planes outfitted with spy cameras flew over the city of Baltimore, recording citizens as they walked or drove around town. Ben Snyder discusses his book 'Spy Plane: Inside Baltimore's Surveillance Experiment,' about how this was supposed to solve murder cases, and why it ultimately failed. (6pm EDT)

Immense, massive, humongous thanks and gratitude to everyone who supported #WFMU during our fundraising marathon by making a pledge, volunteering their time, or just spreading the word. It was a great feeling to hit our goal in the early hours of last night’s marathon finale. Thank you all so much!

(Apologies for not acknowledging this sooner, but your tooter-in-chief was — and kinda still is— exhausted!)

As the final weekend of WFMU's 2025 fundraising marathon begins, we're asking you once again to throw us a few dubloons to help keep WFMU running for another year. Please make a donation TODAY to support WFMU and the Crescent City Connection show. If you want to be in that number, make your pledge here: pledge.wfmu.org/donate/N0

And join me for the Crescent City Connection to get down with the NOLA sound every Saturday at 10am eastern on Rock'n'Soul Radio from @WFMU!

Get ready for ROCK & ROLL OVER, WFMU's answer to the Puppy Bowl! Tonight during Rock and Roller Derby with Suzy Hotrod our DJs' canine pals ARE the DJs! The dogs pick the music and compete to be the best DJ! Tune into Suzy's show TONIGHT from 8pm - 10pm (EDT) to hear all of it, and you can watch the dogs in action on #WFMU's homepage LIVE feed.

This year's competitors (and DJ owners) include: Bruce (Olivia and Matt W.), Pony (Michele), Cassette (Terre T), Minnie (John Allen), Tico (Alan6), and of course Suzy's own Chi-Chi! Plus DJ Perro Caliente the dachshund whisperer and Bucci the referee. Don't miss it!

Coming up at 5pm (EDT) today on #WFMU: Station Manager Ken’s State of the Station, a mid-marathon edition of Ken’s occasional report to the listeners.

Ken will be addressing WFMU programming, finances, technical matters, and of course the always controversial screaming goat policy. Michele With One L will be Ken's co-host.

If you have any questions or comments you would like Ken to address, email him before 5pm today via this link: wfmu.org/email.php?id=30&retur.
