@phillip me being able to sync the full years-old history of my #ArcaneChat / #DeltaChat apps across several devices without needing any server, even while being offline just connected to the same wifi and without needing a "main/master" device, without depending on phones or SIM cards:

@delta yes, I read @adbenitez 's message as saying that after both devices are setup it will still sync new messages between devices while offline. Guess I misinterpreted.
@flub yup, I meant that initial device sync can be done offline as the post I am replying to seems to be about linking a new device, for already linked devices they are kept up to date, so I guess the 45-days thing is when adding a new device, right?
