mvu<p>Welp, I'm done with <a href="https://peoplemaking.games/tags/tacticsOgre" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>tacticsOgre</span></a> Reborn.</p><p>About 12 hours in and realizing that what I crave is the experimentation and customization of character classes and skills offered by FFT games -- and this isn't that. TechnoCore PatriotHad a blast playing the original SNES Tactics Ogre but in chapter 3, lawful route, after defeating Gannp I can no longer advance to Amorika castle. There is no path to it and I'm convinced it's a bug, probably the translation patch is at fault. Is it over? What are my options? I have a save state dating back to the Coritani battle which is not far but I don't know, something tells me it's going to happen again. Tipa<p>Finished Tactics Ogre: Knight of Lodis for the Gameboy Advance, played on an Analogue Pocket. Got the "A" ending, the best possible (I believe) for the first playthrough. There is an "A+" ending that I didn't get. Two named characters were dead at the end so I missed some epilogue stuff. Trixter of the Moon Council<p>Just gonna ramble into the void for a moment...</p><p>I'm at a point near the end of FFIV that's kind of grindy and not super fun, and I'm torn between acknowledging I'm not really enjoying it and taking a break for another game or just plowing through. It doesn't help that I also foolishly started up Tactics Ogre Reborn, so I've got that choice in front of me too. Really beautiful cinematically and the soundtrack is amazing. Maybe the most memorable storyline of any RPG I’ve played. <a href="https://nerdculture.de/tags/TacticsOgre" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>TacticsOgre</span></a> wins for challenging gameplay, FFT wins for story experience. But both are among my top 10 all time games</p>
