mvu<p>Welp, I'm done with <a href="https://peoplemaking.games/tags/tacticsOgre" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>tacticsOgre</span></a> Reborn.</p><p>About 12 hours in and realizing that what I crave is the experimentation and customization of character classes and skills offered by FFT games -- and this isn't that. Even if the graphics make my brain happy and the story's good, I'm not slogging through 100+ hours of battles that I don't find fun.</p><p>I'll keep enjoying my time with the art book -- and I get to finally cross this off my backlog after a decade.</p><p><a href="https://peoplemaking.games/tags/videogames" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>videogames</span></a> <a href="https://peoplemaking.games/tags/jrpg" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>jrpg</span></a> <a href="https://peoplemaking.games/tags/trpg" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>trpg</span></a></p>
mvu<p>As the world burns I am finding solace in choosing which pants to equip my new unit with in my tiny digital army.</p><p><a href="https://peoplemaking.games/tags/tacticsOgre" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>tacticsOgre</span></a> <a href="https://peoplemaking.games/tags/trpg" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>trpg</span></a></p>
mvu<p>Starting <a href="https://peoplemaking.games/tags/tacticsOgre" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>tacticsOgre</span></a> reborn, which is now my 5th plus time trying to start this game since PSP, and *I finally beat the necromancer fight and saved Cistina in chapter 1*</p><p>Feeling good about it this time 💪💪💪</p><p><a href="https://peoplemaking.games/tags/trpg" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>trpg</span></a> <a href="https://peoplemaking.games/tags/jrpg" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>jrpg</span></a></p>
mvu<p>I'm absolutely in love with the character art for <a href="https://peoplemaking.games/tags/TacticsOgre" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>TacticsOgre</span></a> Let us Cling Together. </p><p>... Admittedly despite loving it and owning a copy since the PSP (and snagging a physical copy of Reborn) I've never played it past the first 3 levels. Gotta work up the willpower to get past the intro levels again and really give it an honest go.</p><p><a href="https://peoplemaking.games/tags/srpg" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>srpg</span></a> <a href="https://peoplemaking.games/tags/trpg" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>trpg</span></a> <a href="https://peoplemaking.games/tags/jrpg" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>jrpg</span></a></p>
TechnoCore PatriotHad a blast playing the original SNES Tactics Ogre but in chapter 3, lawful route, after defeating Gannp I can no longer advance to Amorika castle. There is no path to it and I'm convinced it's a bug, probably the translation patch is at fault. Is it over? What are my options? I have a save state dating back to the Coritani battle which is not far but I don't know, something tells me it's going to happen again. Can't I just flip a number in the .srm file for the path to appear? <a class="hashtag" href="https://social.silosneeded.com/tag/snes" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#snes</a> <a class="hashtag" href="https://social.silosneeded.com/tag/retroarch" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#retroarch</a> <a class="hashtag" href="https://social.silosneeded.com/tag/tacticsogre" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#TacticsOgre</a>

Tipa<p>Finished Tactics Ogre: Knight of Lodis for the Gameboy Advance, played on an Analogue Pocket. Got the "A" ending, the best possible (I believe) for the first playthrough. There is an "A+" ending that I didn't get. Two named characters were dead at the end so I missed some epilogue stuff. Anyway a post about it in the next couple of days and then on to the next game. <a href="https://gamepad.club/tags/gameboyadvance" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>gameboyadvance</span></a> <a href="https://gamepad.club/tags/tacticsogre" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>tacticsogre</span></a> <a href="https://gamepad.club/tags/knightoflodis" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>knightoflodis</span></a></p>

Trixter of the Moon Council<p>I've been playing Tactics Ogre Reborn on the Switch Lite because of reasons and now that I'm retiring (and hopefully selling! 😬 ) the Lite and consolidating onto the OLED one, I would like to know if perhaps they considered NOT having every single action that every single unit performs have a rumble effect? My hands are gonna go numb. <a href="https://retro.pizza/tags/TacticsOgre" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>TacticsOgre</span></a> <a href="https://retro.pizza/tags/RetroGaming" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>RetroGaming</span></a> <a href="https://retro.pizza/tags/NintendoSwitch" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>NintendoSwitch</span></a> <a href="https://retro.pizza/tags/SquareEnix" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>SquareEnix</span></a></p>
Trixter of the Moon Council<p>Still chugging along with Tactics Ogre Reborn, with a side of Link's Awakening on the weekends when I have a little more time to settle in with my heated blanket and my Analogue Pocket. I'd love to pick up Octopath Traveler 2 but it's not looking to be in the budget for a bit. <a href="https://retro.pizza/tags/gaming" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>gaming</span></a> <a href="https://retro.pizza/tags/NintendoSwitch" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>NintendoSwitch</span></a> <a href="https://retro.pizza/tags/RetroGaming" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>RetroGaming</span></a> <a href="https://retro.pizza/tags/TacticsOgre" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>TacticsOgre</span></a> <a href="https://retro.pizza/tags/AnaloguePocket" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>AnaloguePocket</span></a></p>
Trixter of the Moon Council<p>Just gonna ramble into the void for a moment...</p><p>I'm at a point near the end of FFIV that's kind of grindy and not super fun, and I'm torn between acknowledging I'm not really enjoying it and taking a break for another game or just plowing through. It doesn't help that I also foolishly started up Tactics Ogre Reborn, so I've got that choice in front of me too. Honestly I just miss the days when I could spend a couple hours editing and then game. <a href="https://retro.pizza/tags/RetroGaming" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>RetroGaming</span></a> <a href="https://retro.pizza/tags/TacticsOgre" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>TacticsOgre</span></a></p>
