Just what I needed. Recent developments™️ made me want to move to local/EU/self hosted solutions. I sadly lost a lot of trust in the US recently. I do not forsee to leave the Apple ecosystem, but anything else is on the chopping block. I will continue to support small/indie web things like omg.lol but I just have to reevaluate my priorities.

I am not anti American, but I am increasingly skeptical that the US technology brothers have ANY ethos whatsoever.

Not that EU-developed/hosted is necessarily a sign of ethical behavior/practices... I'm aware of that.

And this ⬆️ also is true for Apps. I think it's worth it to make better consumer choices that supports apps/services that are less exploitative and also indirectly regulated markets.
