A primary project and obsession is the development of a goblin language. Some facets of this project are shaping up for a public release of materials soon! A lot has already been developed. It is a dream of mine for goblinkind to have their own community driven language and systems of writing- for practical communication, bad poetry, tabletop gaming, larping, and conventions,as well as for esoteric studies and practice.

If things line up for it, I would love to eventually get the materials for this goblin language such as a dictionary and grammar, as well as a number of fey wild fantasy scripts that have been designed- to be digitized and turned in to fonts, to be released in a very open source way along with the debian repositories, if they will accept materials by that stage.

Although presentation materials for a public release are not yet polished, a large amount of design has been completed by this point.

During the International Conference, “New Cybernetics” (15th, 16th May), at the University of Applied Sciences Düsseldorf, I shall be demonstrating my work on #qiuy - the recursive-modelling-language Ive been developing for over a decade.

The Kílta word "lauka" (lie, fib) doesn't have a simple verbal form, but instead has two light verb constructions which make a useful distinction —

lauka si míto - lit., "speak a lie" - opportunistic lying

lauka si salko - lit., "put/place a lie" - an organized effort to mislead

Are there any experts in Klingon around? I would love to get a translation of the chant heard at Minnesota Wild hockey games (many teams use similar chants) "Let's go Wild". Basically meaning "Go team!" or "Victory for the Minnesota Wild!"). Any ideas would be fantastic.

I really need to start working on my language evolver again. Spending more than an hour creating a word, then manually evolving it through time and space for a throwaway reference just feels inefficient.

Spending hundreds of hours programming and setting up a piece of software so I can hit a button and do it all magically is far more efficient.

After much arduous labor, plus a lot of work, I've finished the first part of a deep dive into the history of my #conlang Pizan. Pizan is the result of a creolization of Spanish and English established in the #fantasy world of Andowan (erstwhile Sagaia)...
