Kung Fu Kid is a beat-'em-up developed and published by Sega for the Master System where the young kung fu master Wang must defeat the evil Madanda and his henchman Kyong Shi to avenge the death of his master.
It follows the common beat-'em-up scheme: The goal is to make it to the end of each of the 7 stages, where a boss fight awaits. Enemies continually pour in to challenge Wang.
Dynamite Headdy is the game in which I am seeing the Game Over screen more often than anything else. It’s tough.

Huge love for the old #gaming advertising and #design
#SEGA and #SonicTheHedgehog are some of my fav ancient games, and you can see some fun ads here
...though as far as #HandheldGaming went, the Game Gear might not be quite so fondly remembered (though modern solutions of IPS drop-in displays and battery packs are possible with mods), we can still enjoy them on our #SteamDeck
The Dragon's Trap box cover is reversible!
And there are over 80 tracks on 2 CDs. I'm listening to them right now.
A real delight (like the game)

Got this beautiful edition of Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap
It was the 2-CD soundtrack that motivated my purchase (and a good second-hand price)
The box is bigger than I expected (slightly bigger than a PC big box)

An unprecedented effort has led to the most complete English translation of Capcom vs. SNK 2 for Dreamcast ever! Read Ateam's writeup on how he and his team of translators pulled it off:
While most basketball games at the time had either a horizontal or diagonal camera perspective, NBA Action '95 for the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive opted for a vertically-scrolling, overhead view.
The player's sprites heights and hair matched their real-life counterparts to make them more distinguishable from one another. Player sizes also factored into the game's foul system.
