@JustGrist It's truly my pleasure! You'll find higher quality audio of most of his songs, but this one is so new that I don't think so.
He wrote "I Ain’t Got None of My Friends Left" on tour and recorded that youtube video in a venue bathroom & released it less than a month ago. He's tapping into something special & the rawness & immediacy is very needed, imo.

So, like many of you, I’m a lover of music. All kinds of music.
One of my favorite artists of all time is Stan Rogers. Stan died way too young, and I often wonder what he could have accomplished had he made it another 40 years or so.
My Canadian friends will know of him, as he’s a national treasure… others, sadly, not so much.
For the uninitiated, I give you two wildly different songs. One is simply beautiful, a song of the fading beauty of youth and a love sustained; the other an uplifting tune about overcoming adversity and commitment to a purpose.

When I was a teenager in the mid #90s , I acquired a collection songbook of classic songs, which I still have (pictured below).
I had heard almost every song in it, but had not heard “Streets Of London” by Ralph McTell.
I became quite enamoured not only with that one song, but McTell in general.
I’ve been searching for Spiral Staircase for quite sometime, as that’s the OG version, but this album is one I adore.
